We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Care Attendants. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide essential assistance and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of others and who enjoy providing personalized care in a home setting.

Responsibilities

1. Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
2. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.
3. Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to clients' dietary preferences and restrictions.
4. Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living spaces, doing laundry, and changing bed linens.
5. Assist with medication reminders and basic healthcare tasks under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional.
6. Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands as needed.
7. Document and report any changes in clients' condition or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.
8. Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, adhering to infection control protocols and safety regulations.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in healthcare or related field preferred.
2. Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or a similar role preferred but not required.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and their families in a respectful and empathetic manner.
4. Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
5. Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others.
6. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred.
7. Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
